Should found from http://home.swbell.net/gmsmiley/Glide2x.zip It worked for me, but only in 640*480 screen resolution. Tuomas Paasiala | Remove _NO-SPAM_ Helsinki FINLAND | for reply

Anyone have this combo and successfully run GPL? I get to the first set of menu's and it crashes my system hard. I've tried all drivers available from the 3dfx site but same thing with each. Any ideas/suggestions much appreciated. (and yes rreved I know it's not a gaming OS but others have had success) Mitch

GPL w/ V3 in w2k indeed need the glide-patch, but you have to set it up correctly. To use 800x600 driving-resolution, use these settings in the glide-patches ini-file: GPL Override=1 ; 512 x 384 = 3 ; 640 x 480 = 7 ; 800 x 600 = 8 ; 960 x 720 = 9 ; 1024 x 768 = 12 ; 1280 x 1024 = 13 ; 1600 x 1200 = 14 ; ; The default is 1024 x 768 ; This must match you GPL resolution setting Resolution=8 -- Mika Takala [email hidden] ICQ UIN 14314015 "Tuomas Paasiala" <[email hidden]> kirjoitti viestiss news:[email hidden]... > On Sat, 23 Sep 2000 18:19:10 GMT, "Mitch Alatorre" <[email hidden]> > wrote: > > >Anyone have this combo and successfully run GPL? Thanks fellas the gsmiley GL patch worked great. Over that hurdle but another has cropped up. I use a Madcatz Andretti wheel and GPL will not calibrate correctly. I can calibrate steering but not throttle/brake. The numbers move but the little white up arrow remains centered. In the game I can turn left only no throttle/brake. I've tried both USB and Gameport. (The above using USB) the gameport just doesn't work in Win2K (SBLive). Using USB this combo works fine in F12K and GP3 (and in Win 2k/control panel/game controller applet). Any ideas or suggestions appreciated. Mitch "Mika Takala" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3qoz5.1528$[email hidden]...
