MUST be a non-racefan! Goodness, a replay of the Bristol night race, a thrilling F1 race, and a pretty decent IRL race, and this dude's laying down carpet! Someone HELP him! Sundown305

This weekend I was watching the F1 race and the carpet installer showed up at my house. The only thing left in my living room was the TV and I wasn't moving it just yet. The carpet guy had never watched F1 but he was watching when Mika passed Michael and we both thought that it was an excellent move. The next day I ventured over to Atlas F1 where Ron Dennis is quoted as saying "His overtaking manoeuvre I'm sure will go down as one of the greatest in the sport's history". Here I am watching F1 every race and the carpet guy watches for 5 minutes and see's one of the sports greatist moves in history ;) I think to myself - heck I see 5 or 10 "manoevre's" a like that during a typical Winston Cup race :/ I try to reason with myself and I consider that maybe I really am witnessing one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time. In 10 or 15 years I may look back on these "Mika" years and really appreciate his dominance. It's just sad that there is not more racing like we saw on Sunday - every week. --David Cook

In the first case, the retailer recommends their own set of glues that come with the carpet, and that possible better glues will be available for loading down from the shelf in the store in the future, but in any case you would be better off by going for the generic set of glues from the wholesale. They may not come in pretty boxes, but hold much better. Also, before applying the glue, add an additional base layer Directly on the floor. Be sure to get the latest version of the base layer, otherwise the latest glues may not stick. Replace the glue and the base layer when later versions appear (how you do that is your problem!), otherwise some new guests will refuse to run over your carpet! -Gregor
