Yet another good argument for the inherent goodness of F1 2000. -- JB In article <8o67ct$bt7$[email hidden]>, "Richard Bakker" <[email hidden]> wrote: > But FRAPS gives you always the 'set' framerate with GP3. I finally got my machine up to good specs for NASCAR3, GP3 (well 2.01 at best), and F12000. How, if at all, can you see the frame-rate you are running. It would be awful nice to know what you are shooting for if you know what your are running. If memory serves, I recall having a "cheat code" in N2 to see the frame-rate inside the car in real-time. Can you do this in N3, GP3, or F12000? Later doooooods G-

I didn't get fraps to work with the NH demo. Are there any tricks I don't know about ? (stupid question) :) -- Olav K. Malmin remove spam when replying

Thanks, I probably have the old version, I'll try the new one in the weekend. I haven't the full version of NH because of the non-European release, but i'll probably pick it up when visiting LA in late October. -- Olav K. Malmin remove spam when replying

Fraps is a good one, like they said...but for N3 and N2/99 you use the alt f keys pressed at the same time. dave henrie "Tom "GONZO-" Beaty" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:0opp5.625$[email hidden]... > I finally got my machine up to good specs for NASCAR3, GP3 (well 2.01 at > best), and F12000. But FRAPS gives you always the 'set' framerate with GP3. So if you set it at 22 fps, and you have an occupancy of 150%. it won't give you 16~17, but 22. And it seems that if you race like this (at 150%) for 1.5 hours, your windows clock has incremented for 1 hour. Go figure! The game will always keep the set framerate, if the load is too heavy it will slow down the game time to keep the rate up. >And it seems that if you race like this (at 150%) for 1.5 hours, your >windows clock has incremented for 1 hour. Go figure! Now that I find hard to believe. What you are describing is probably just that you raced 1.5 hours of the slowed game time, but the real life time (as indicated by the Windows clock) you needed for that was only 1 hour. Again, that's how the GP3 slowmo works. JanL

I used to have an internet utility that would hook up to an Atomic Clock in Colorado and reset my pc clock....I'm only 3 minutes slow right now so I guess it ain't thaaaat bad. dave henrie
