I'm not new to sim racing but kind of intermittent as far as this NG
goes, so please forgive me if I ask a basic question? What is the GPL
rank and how does one take part? I run GP legends in addition to several
others (Nascar, F1, Rally).
Also, where is GP3 available? I live in the Cincinnati area and haven't
seen it anywhere.
I have also seen the F1 game by Eidos, the sequel to their 99 sim.
Is it better than their previous effort. I wasn't a real fan of it
better if 2000 is better I will definitely give it a chance. I'm still
running GP2, a little old but still well worth the time. Anyone know of
any good GP2 site? (carsets; setups, etc.)
Thanks in advance,

Just go to http://gplrank.schuerkamp.de/index.html for GPL rank. It
takes the papyrus replays of the tracks and makes a total time for them,
then takes YOUR best laps and adds them together too. Then it takes one
from the other and gives you a total gplrank. For example, my rank is
+29, so in total, I'm 29 seconds slower than all the papy laps added
together. Greger Huttu on the other hand is -83 or something so he's
over a minute quicker in total.
To take part, just go to the site, register and upload your player.ini
file. Then weep uncontrollably at how bad you are compared to the great
alien Huttu!
