Rename the .CAR file that you want from its filename to T_PLAYER.CAR (or GNPLAYER.CAR if you're running Busch). Worked for me. Sundown

Hi Peter, Your own car file is called t_playe.car or t_player.car. Just copy the new.car file to t_playe.car (or t_player.car depending on what file currently exists in the car folder). Change you name in the driver setup screen and your off to the races. You can backup your current t_playe.car file before copying over it just in case you need to restore it. Jason. Hi all, Was wondering if someone if someone could help before this drives me nuts!!!! I've downloaded a couple of fictional .car files from a nascar3 car site and am trying to associate it with my driver. No matter how I try , I just can't get it to work. I've looked around but can't seem to find a set of directions for doing what I want to do. Could someone help me out PLEASE and give me a simple set of directions. Thanks in advance

Well, you just put the .car file into the cars folder of N3, start the game up and you'll see your new car listed on the left of the driver info screen. You have to add that car to the list on the right (you'll maybe have to take one out before you put one in as there's a 43 car limit), and then make sure that the car is at the very top of the list on the right. Now, when you go to track, the car will be there, waiting. -- Colin Harris Bomber Racing: Http://fullspeed.to/Bomber ICQ 25485061 Peter Marak <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:kVPo5.10601$[email hidden]... > Hi all, > Was wondering if someone if someone could help before this > drives me nuts!!!! > > I've downloaded a couple of fictional .car files from a nascar3 car site > and am trying to associate it with my driver. > No matter how I try , I just can't get it to work. Not sure what you mean by associate it with your driver. Have you already unziped the files and put them into your cars directory....excuse my DOS...I mean cars folder? If so all you need to do is click on "player Info" in the main menu of the game then locate the car and use the arrow buttons to move the car over to your entry list. Once it is in your entry list hilight (click on) the driver name and then click the "move entry UP" until this car/driver is at the top of the list. Once it is at the top of the entry list you can click on either "Player Info" or "Driver Info" as the top car on the list becomes the player (or you) in N3. You can then edit the text changing the driver's name to yourself. exit and save the altered list and you should be driving your new wheels. Hope this helps
