I think the installer doesn't recognize directory
names longer than 8 characters. I bet you have
GPL installed in c:\program files\sierra\gpl, just
like I did.
Try typing this in for the location of GPL.exe:
c:\progra~1\sierra\gpl
I was having the same crashing problem as you
until I tried that string.
