Just maybe they are feeling the Heat as one person said in the NH newsgroup :). Actually this isn't new for Papyrus, they usually miss their original release date by 6 months or more. I wouldn't be suprised if Sierra laid down a smoke screen to dull the interest in Nascar Heat. If two sims are coming out ...kinda close together, lots of folks will only be able to buy one and they "may" choose to wait for what should be at least a somewhat known product. Nintendo has become famous doing that. When Sega released a cd...POOF! Nintendo releases a picture of a "better than cd" addon box... When Sony released the original Playstation. Nintendo showed off all sorts of 'planned' peripherials that would matcht the PS. Now that Dreamcast and PS2 are out/almost out, What funny toys will we see mated to the Dolphin to keep Nintendo buyers from parting with their cash early. I would think if this is indeed a "tactic" that it will work the complete opposite. By stating that N4 will be delayed until next year will only make people go out and buy Heat, not wait for N4. yes but you will notice...it is NOT Sierra or Papy that is saying the program is delayed. They still stick to the November date. and...you'll also notice...they still refuse to confirm whether Daytona is included.
