I'm running gp3 on a P3 500 with a CLAP ddr and the new detonor drivers, 224MB RAM. When I race the starts are slow which i can handle, but whenever I run close behind another it seriously slows down with the op spiking to about180!!! I'm running at 25.6fps and at 1024x760. If it was lots of cars, ok, but just one. Has anyone got a simiar system, how does it run? thanks in advance

Huh. I have a p2 400 192 mg ram, voodoo3 2000 PCi- I Run with all graphics on except in the mirrors(kurbs smoke, no texture). I race other cars at 1024x768 under 100 PO allways. I practise in 1240x 1028 with no cars, under 100 PO all the time. The saving grace of this game is how well it runs. Try running it with a FF wheel !! 180% proc !!!! Athlon 800 128mb Geforce2 The Physics are crap and the sense of track elevation , pathetic. Also whilst racing Karts in my younger-lighter-fitter days NEVER has a wet track shone back at me like a "perfect" mirror, a good case of style over content. Ian
