Having bought the V5 5500 on Friday I decided to remove my V2 and install my
SBLive Player 1024 sound card (lack of PCI slots meant I had to not install
it in my new PC) to check the performance in GPL with the TNT2 and SBLive
before installing the V5. I was absolutely amazed to find that at the back
of the grid (19 AI) at Kyalami the FPS went up from about 20-22 to 27-29.
Anybody else found this sort of jump with the SBLive??
The previous soundcard was an on board Creative number... I certainly didn't
expect to find such a difference.
