Autosport.com today reported the following in it's article on the CART
Rockingham circuit:
"With the races in Europe, the 2001 CART series will race on every continent
except Africa."
This is so exciting! Why haven't I heard about the race in Antarctica yet?
What sort of circuit is it? Ice covered superspeedway? Perhaps a road
circuit on a glacier with a cravasse as a chicane? Where do I find out
more?
Brook
Hi,
the track is the new buid Lausitzring, in eastern-germany.
It's called the EuroSpeedway Berlin-Brandenburg and it's a tri-oval. The
latest news on that are, that there are 2 races in Europe. The other one
will be held in GreatBritain. That track is the new oval at Rockingham.
Btw,do you really think that Europe is like Antarctica?

Sshhhh...don't let on that Anartica is a continent...cuz then the Aussies
will think "they" live on a continent too.
We can't disturb Ozland cuz it may be the last haven for 2.0 litre super
tourers and they haven't finished filming the Lord of the Rings movie over
in Kiwi-land next door.

Hehe.
ever heard of Australasia <G>
MS
LOL:))) I now:)
Dirk
Actually, Antarctica TECHNICALLY isn't a continent because a continent is a
mass of land that can SUSTAIN A POPULATION. Well, if it naturally can't
sustain humans, then it's not really a continent, so us atleast. Maybe to
the penguins :) So Antarctica can be considered a continent or not.
Thanks,
Alex

Europe does not give you the right to bag "Ozland". Some of us down here are
interested in CART (there is definitely more competition there) and, I may
be wrong, but wasn't that the 2.0 litre 'super' tourers series going out the
window? No, it's only the v8 series trying to push the 2 litre's that last
bit over the sill (almost there).
And by the way, ask many Australians and they will tell you the Kiwi's are
scum, ask others and they will tell you in some term or another that Kiwi's
ahhh .... no I won't go into that here.
