Voodo 3000 Texture Map Problem in GPL

I cant seem to run GPL on my Voodo 3 3000 any higher than 640 x 480 without getting strange texture map problem on some cars and track scenes. Any thing in general I sshould look for in setting up the card in the game? Any help would be great, thanks... C. Bybee 16Mb Voodo 3 3000, Win 98 SE, 450 P3, 128 Mb Ram
