Hi all
I have a very annoying "lock up" problem with this game
I've tried running it on my GEForce card, with both the drivers that
came with the card, Creative, and the latest from NVidia and I've tried
running it on my Quantum3D Obsidian II X24 card, with Quantum's last
drivers, I can't get 3Dfx' latest reference drivers to work properly
If I use the GEForce card I can't run the Normandie track and one of the
others, on the Quantum card (basically a V2 SLI setup) I can run every
track, but not more than 2 or 3 in succession, and just quitting to
Win98 don't help, I must reboot
This is getting very annoying as I'm trying very hard to enjoy this
game, which I think is the best of the series since the original NFS
System as follows
P3-700E on ASUS CUBX mobo, not overclocked (yeah I know, but I don't
have time to mess about with it right now :-), Creative GEForce PRO
(latest ref drivers)and Quantum3D Obsidian II X24 (last Quantum drivers,
3Dfx' reference drivers mess up the colors), SB Live 1024 (latest
drivers) and 256 MB of RAM
No other game/sim gives me any problems at all, I can play N3 on either
card for hours and GPL on the Quantum3D card for hours as well, any
input will be greatly appreciated

Turn off the "Lens Flare"! Go to"options", then "graphics", then "advanced"
and turn off the Lens Flare option. This will cure all lockups!
