Eldred climbs the GPLRank list

Members teased Eldred, the group's famously slow GPL driver, after he improved his Nurburgring time and moved up GPLRank. The thread was mostly jokes about him training with Greger Huttu, who briefly joined in.

Bzzt! Wrong answer, thanks for playing...<g> Actually, I ran some laps at Watkins Glen, and tried left-foot braking. After stuffing my ferrari in the wall for the umpteenth time, I gave up again... I heard from a confidential source that he's flown out to Finland recently for private tuition from El Huttu. I hope his mobo blows so I can have a chance to beat his time at the Ring. Andrew

Yep, no sooner had I joyfully announced that I had overtaken him than he leapfrogs me again...... How is it possible to feel so competitive with people you have never met and don't really know? All I know is the strange looks I get when I realise that I've drifted off into that dream world where I have just made a perfect pass through the chicane at Monaco, or completed 3 laps in a row without crashing at the 'Ring :-) Ian Ian Riches Bedford, UK
