Do you have a joystick port on your sound card or motherboard? It could be
keeping the PDPI from working correctly, and still not cause a conflict...

recognizes the card but it doesn't detect the digitalgame port.
Anyone have this problem? any ideas what could be wrong?

Buster Did you go to Control Panel> Game Controllers>Advanced and Look at

When you run testport, does it say legacy mode OK and then that the digital
game port is not detected. If so you need to move the switch on the back of
the PDPI card to the other setting (it is currently in pure legacy mode).
Then run testport again and it should work.
