My dad said he'd seen a preveiw of a game which allowed you to drive in the Mille miglia. It was only on TV for a few minutes, but he said there was footage of Moss driving a Mercedes. I missed it as I was off to football training, so I've got no idea what the game was called, or what platform it's on. Anyone know anything about this game? -- -Ace-

I saw some video on the UK show "Bits", but it was nothing but rendered video - nice stuff, but rendered. The screenshots look OK, but expect the game to take the form of a number of tracks "in the style" of the Mille Miglia circuit. After all, how many PSX owners would want to sit for 10+ hours racing the real circuit? - Michael

I've seen something about it on the Console Domain site: http://www.consoledomain.com/psx/previews/Mille_Miglia.html The game is set for release in May 2000 on the Playstation to coincide with the actual race. Next generation console versions and a PC version with online link-up are also being developed. It's being developed by SCI -- there's more info on their site: http://www.sci.co.uk/Products/MilleMiglia/millemiglia.htm The screen shots look GREAT -- let's hope it's not another SoS 1937. -- JB Ace wrote in message <8gs7gh$kes$[email hidden]>...

That sounds too good to be true... very interested to know either way though. Jan. =--- Ace wrote... > My dad said he'd seen a preveiw of a game which allowed you to drive inthe

show "Bits", but it was nothing but rendered Damn shame. IMO Sony has a lot to answer for.

I agree, the screen shots look awesome. So I downloaded the 20meg video. Very arcadish looking, nothing in there that resembles the screen shots. Not hopeful. -- Don Scurlock Vancouver,B.C.

It's the old Grand Tourismo engine re-done for MM. But that is far from a bad thing. This might be interesting!
