the sp3.0 and sp3.1 by James Wohlever is located at http://www.freediskspace.com/Index.asp the login name is DaveHenrie the password is sp30 the file is HUGE almost 125 megs and the dload is slow. But it really adds a ton of cars and fixes to the sim. dave henrie Patrick Blouin wrote: > > I buy yesterday scgt and I don't find the sp3 or sp3.1 that some suggest for > scgt late week

Oh gawd, I'm not sure I can remember that far back. Some framerate issues, some other stuff...hehe sorry...can't dredge it up. I do know you get 155 cars and sp3.1 gets rid of the high polygon(slow fps) cars also the viewable damage is enabled...and...and...OH! Several track bugs where you would DQ'd at certain tracks have been fixed..More like that... While the Trans Am cars are cool, and the Aussie V8 Touring cars, I've currently got a set of Le Mans type cars but my framerate is HORRIBLE due to the high polygon count in most of the LMP cars. I just ran fraps and the avg was probably around 21 or 22 with single digits at the start and 11 or 12 in heavy traffic. Did get up over 30 tho when I ran in the clear. SCGT's framerate really varies within each lap. dave henrie Nos wrote:

Yea, I noticed the frame rate at Desert Speedway sucks. Had to turn everything all the way down to make it playable in a race. All other tracks have been pretty good though. I will download sp3.0/1 one of these days when I feel up to such a long download. One thing about that server you are using though. Why do I have to install some small prog to be able to download the files? It's not "spyware" is it? -- Nos

Why else would it be needed to just download a file and why else would they offer free web space of that if there isn't soemthing in it for them? I hate spyware crap so probably won't dload the file. -- Nos
