Has anybody figured out how to run GPL on a GeForce at higher than
640x480? I just got an Elsa Gladiac and, of course, I had to try it on
GPL 'cuz I'm dying to see how it looks with FSAA turned on. It is
stable and runs fine, except at any res higher than 640x480, I get a
portion of the viewable area (usually the left mirror and part of the
left arm) in a small window in the upper left corner of the sceen.
Sure, I can go back to using the Voodoo2s, but I sure don't want to. :)

I don't have the same hardware but it sounds like a problem with your
refresh rate at resolutions other than 640x480.

The 3.68 drivers run GPL fine,
but the new 5.13-5.16 all do the same thing, only a 640x480 portion of the
upper left corner is viewable :( Damn, cause the new drivers fix some
visual bugs for me, and they were a little bit faster too :(
Anyone know why this is happening?

I'm running GPL at 1280x1024 100Hz using the 514 drivers from Nvidia with no
problems - On Windows 2000. No problems with the menu's either. Funny thing is
I thought FPS was maxed at 36 for GPL but I see 37's and 38's now...

You're using the 5.xx beta Detonator drivers for your GeForce. Their
OpenGL drivers don't seem to like screen mode changes. :( You can use
the 3.xx drivers instead, they work correctly. (Except I suspect the
3.xx
drivers may not be able to deal with a GeForce 2)
The 5.xx drivers also screw up trying to do screen mode changes in D3D
too! There's definitely something very broken with them.

No, I got the same problem. I _know_ what a refresh rate/sync problem looks
like.

Thanks. I tried the 3.77 .dll in the GPL directory and that didn't help. I'm
guessing it is the 5.16 drivers. Damn. I wanna run it at 1600x1280. :)
