I use PIII733 + voodoo2000 + 196MB RAM + Act Lab Force RS. I already choose medium detail and 640x480 resolution. However, the driving speed is still quite slow on the screen (I feel scary fast when I drive RC2000). Is that because of my video card? or else? Thanks. Andrew

I have almost the same system (P3600 @744, V3 2000@166, 128mbpc133, Force RS) You can (and should) run this game @1024*768 minimum + max detail. Make sure you are running the game in wide screen (already mentioned). This makes a big difference. Remember that the cars you are driving, at least in the beginning, are quite slow, so dont expect a great sensation of speed. It is nothing like the sensation you get in RC2000. (I'm not saying this is good or bad) Have fun ;) Ivan Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.

Probably not your machine. If you are talking about low framerates, I also get that on the start of Normandie and Schwartswald. (on a P3-600, G400, 256Mb). If you are talking about low sensation of speed, try in-car with wide-screen enabled. That improved it for me. Pl K Holmberg

Not only that, but unless you changed the option, the speedometer reads in kilometers per hour. If it says '120', you're actually going about 70 mph in the older cars. Tony Sante www.pcbaseball.com

Try running the 3d card setup. Maybe you're running in software mode right now. I find that the biggest problem is that the roads are too wide. The narrow roads of RC2000 give a great impression of speed. Driving down a runway wouldn't.
