First off, I love IndyCar. Very satisfied, etc.
However, I discovered a minor quirk with the realism of the simulation.
After qualifying on the pole at Michigan, with pace lap enabled, I spun on
the warm-up lap (big-time driver error). While trying to regain my position
on the pole, I compounded the error by rear-ending Paul Tracy (his bad
luck continues) and knocking his left rear off.
I got a jump on Bobby Rahal on his outside pole position, and went on to
finish the race. At the end, I checked the results and saw Paul Tracy in
11th position. I went back and watched the replay from behind him, and
he ran the entire race on three wheels!
Maybe he IS better than people give him credit for.
