Just got IndyCar 1.03. Can't get road texture to come one. Have tried the auto-detail and the manual detail settings. Machine has 5 meg ram, 1 meg VESA Video, 486dlc40 processor. Game runs quite smoothly. Only thing loaded in base memory is stacker3.0. No config.sys/no mouse etc. Also, does someone have the good spirit to send me a crack for the wretched protect scheme on 1.03? I will be getting 1.04 ASAP but it may take a few days! Mike.

I too lost track & grass texture when upgrading from v1.00 to 1.05 (via the expansion packages). Papyrus says that the executable in 1.05 is larger (not sure about 1.03) and some detail had to be sacrificed on lower meg machines. (I have only 4 megs) This may be your problem also. Papyrus says the only way to get track texture back is more RAM. (Now how do I convince my wife that I need to spend a couple hundred bucks to make the track look cooler?????) Ken
