I have ICR 1.05 and am having problems getting it to use my modem. I
know the modem works because I run a bbs off the same machine with the
same modem. I have my modem on COM1 (it's external).
Last night we tried connecting with a comm package and then tried
running indy but we could never get the little telephone (unless the
other person disconnected).
I have US Robotics HST/DS modem. If I go to dial it keeps telling me to
make sure my modem is turned on. (It is and is on COM1 IRQ 4, just like
the settings say).....
Does anyone have any clue? I assume ICR is not recognizing my modem for
some reason....
Other Items on the computer... Sound Card, CDrom, T1 Steering wheel.
Any advise would be appreciated! I've tried taking almost everything
out of my config.sys but didn't help.... (running dos 6.0)....
thanks
