OK, after trying out the demo, I can't get sound to work right with the
gus (1meg...not max). No music and REALLY bad digital speech/sound
effects. Plus there's a really annoying "tap"..."tap"...."tap" sound all
the time, even in the menu screens (seems to vary in rate during the menu
screens....perhaps flaky music???). When I select SB 8 bit mono (also have
one of these in my machine) I get the correct sound/music. But, I'd
really like to use my GUS (stereo, midi music!).
Has anyone got the GUS to work right in the game (demo or REAL one)??
