I am new to this (or any) newsgroup. So I am praying that I am not terribly
incoherent. I was just wondering if anyone has broken Bill's recored at
Talladega on the NASCAR game by removing the restrictor plate? I am thinking
about trying it. I have a decent qualifying speed (196+), but the plate keeps
me always under 200.

Hey Kevin,
I'm new to this group also (as of today). If I understand your question,
I think Bill's record is the best track speed. I'll have to check that --
so don't hold me to it. If that's the case, I matched that record
yesterday. I'm also consistantly running 200's as a qual. speed.
I'll do some more research on your question, and if I turn up anything,
I'll let you know
The Talladega is pre-restrictor plate BE runs. Once you
upgrade to 1.2 for Nascar, it'll be much more realistic.
