Does anyone know how to save lap records? I've tried the option, but it won't work. Do you have to do a 100% race? From Mark Knezevic Dubbed: "Mark O'Tyres"
>Does anyone know how to save lap records? I've tried the option, but >it won't work. Do you have to do a 100% race? Race records are only saved after a 100% race. Qualifying records are only saved if you run the race, but you can hit escape right at the start and accellerate time. In either case, once you reach the end of the race, select "lap records" (not "fastest laps"), and you will see "(Record)" under anything which the game will save. When you restart the game you must load the file to see the results. A better way is to enable Startup Files in the Games Option Menu. The selected files are then loaded automatically. -- Volker Busche

Only for race lap records, not for qualify lap records. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rene Smit AKA The SDI, Technical University Delft Faculty of Computer Science 2522 CL THE HAGUE | www: http://dutian.twi.tudelft.nl/~smit/sdihome.html The Netherlands | tel: +31-(0)70-3999138 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rene Smit AKA The SDI, Technical University Delft Faculty of Computer Science 2522 CL THE HAGUE | www: http://dutian.twi.tudelft.nl/~smit/sdihome.html

But are they? There's a bug such that often they aren't - my copy reports the `default' Lap Records for Qualifying and Race laps however much I try to Load/Save external files. I've taken to keeping the records in Excel ;-( Thomas - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Goodricke College, University of York, York, YO1 5DD, UK "God preserve us from religious nutters"
