2 posts by 2 people · 28 Jul 1995 - 28 Jul 1995

-> I just downloaded the NASCAR demo from the Papyrus homepage. I have a -> P-100 with 16mb and an SB-16. When I pick my soundcard I pick SB-16 -> Stereo, and for Midi I pick FM Synth. I get all the music, but once -> demo starts, I get no sound (i.e. engines, tires etc.) When I select -> auto-detect option, I get the music, but then the screen freezes once -> tries to start and I have to re-boot. I remember reading a post abou -> conflicts, but I would appreciate any help. I had the same problem with that demo with my Sound Blaster Pro. I eventually got it working, but I can't remember how. -> Number 2, does the demo run in SVGA. From the looks of it does not. I -> tried loading NASDEMO -h but it only supports NASDEMO -i or -s. -> (Interactive or self demo). I heard the graphics were great but they Nope, no SVGA in the demo. Drats!
