I'd hate for guys here to think that is wanted I wanted to happen, which of course it isn't as it would be wrong. Very wrong indeed. Very, very, very wrong indeed. Let's hope raser doesn't fail to understand what I meant and get any ideas. :)

I agree, That was very tacky. I was on a business trip about a week and a half ago, took ill, and was hospitalized about 1600 miles from home, and ended up having surgery there. Upon returning, I check ras and see the original post here, and thought it was serious. I don't know Eldred personally, just from his posts and contributions to the group here, and have always enjoyed reading his posts, so I was very saddened when I read the O.P. Not funny at all, I don't care what the situation, no one should ever take something like death lightly in that manner. -- Don Burnette
On one of the flightsim groups that I frequent, one of the regular posters disappeared for a while. A couple of weeks ago, he returned to report that his absence was down to the fact that his wife had just passed away, having lost her battle with cancer. It hits home to me when somebody you have grown to know suffers such devastation. When sick wankers post messages like this it really turns my guts over. It is nothing less than reprehensible and beneath contempt... MS "Rusty Unger" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

I was thinking the same thing, the only thing I can off is the OP confusing Eldred with a driver who uses the handle Pickett on iGOR occasionally (Eldred uses EldredP). The latter is not a terrible driver by any stretch of the imagination, but perhaps something happened in a race or in chat. Or it could be the offense is in the eye of the beholder... I've lost my cool with other posters and vise versa over things which the group as a whole considered banal<sp?>. Jan. =---

Still, I've rarely been so relieved to see a Usenet posting answered so promptly. Stick around Eldred ;) Regards, Rudy (When I was in college and stepped into the classroom on the first day of third year, people looked at me rather funny. When I asked 'why' I was told they'd read someone with the same name as me was reported to have died!)
