Press Release: Wednesday, 10 January, 1996 THE IWCCCARS PROJECT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE IWCCCARS Adds Sponsors, Set Updates and Previews PROVO, UTAH (Release date: Wednesday, 10 January, 1996) -- The IWCCCARS Project has received three new sponsorships from Internet Web sites. Backyard Aerospace and the Tidewater NASCAR Modem Series have signed on as non-profit supporters, and Pit Road Motorsports, a source of NASCAR merchandise and souvenirs, has enlisted in a corporate sponsorship. We gratefully acknowledge the support of all three sites in helping us distribute high-quality car sets to the Internet. Car Set Updates CARS95, last season's signature car set, has received another major update as of January 4, 1996. Thanks to contributions from Denny Hoffman and Scott Troxler, a great deal of detailing has been added to many of the cars. Additionally, the #71 Olive Garden Chevrolet has been replaced with Dave Upson's fine #71 Prodigy car. Also in the update queue are Jeff Foglietta's CARS90 and CARS93, which sport some new numbering and detailing. Car Set Additions IWCCCARS has received permission from Earl Ma to distribute CART95, currently the premiere IndyCar Racing II car set on the Internet. The set includes major players from the 1995 CART/PPG IndyCar World Series and is available from the Preview Announcements The Project's has added screen shots of both the upcoming TRUCKS95 set and the new CARS96 set, both of which are scheduled for release in early March. Contributors We'd like to take this opportunity to thank those who submitted artwork to us this past week, particularly Denny and Scott for their amazing work. We've endeavored to give credit where credit is due, and we've modified our and to reflect that as much as possible. Once again, thank you to all who support us!
