As many of you know, my new job is taking up so much time that I
hardly ever get a chance to answer the question sent to me at The
Pits.
As a side effect, most people then post in r.a.s and their questions
get answered.
To try and help with the problem of questions not getting answered at
The Pits, I'm hoping to set-up a sort of 'Help Desk' thing where
people can post questions to a panel of 'experts' who have a good
knowledge of the sims and are heppy to help others.
I'm still working on a few details, but if you think your a bit of an
expert then let me know and we'll consider your application for the
help desk.

Sounds like something you do in the back seat of
>a car, which goes beyond normal help desk duty.. ;)
An expert. Like a Scientist or a Professor I guess! Somebody who is
very knowledgeable on a topic.
