How about, instead of charging people for every hour they are on when the 800 number is available, you charge them a monthly fee. About $20 to $30 bucks a month for unlimited access. Tim

The only thing wrong with this idea is that they can't guarantee access 100% of the time to the service due to possible 100% caller capacity. While we can't possibly foresee what Sierra will do with the pay schedules, I would like to see yearly membership dues ($75?) and semi-yearly dues ($50) and maybe $1.50 per hour usage rates. Logistics (billing) will cost Sierra quite a bit because I assume that a lot of people (kids) won't have credit cards or checking accounts to bill automatically. I guess that we'll all just have to sit back and see what happens... /=================================================\ | John Simmons (Redneck Techno-Biker) | | http://www2.connectnet.com/users/jms/index.html | \=================================================/

That'll keep [most of] the bumper cars off the system... I'm sorry, I just HAD to sad that :( Race on Saturday morning, they're apparently still watching cartoons<g> Eldred Pickett I am NOT paranoid. Then again, I don't think they should let "kids" have membership. "Kids" that just logon, get in a race and wreck everybody everytime over and over again. People who are willing to learn, yes! But not ***holes. Dave.

Be a LONG time (if ever) we would see it for $20 or $30 a month unlimited access. I'm very surprised it isn't showing up on the Sierra network. Probably, because of the latency requirements. (IMO) I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the price plan is going to be. My bet is, it's going to be more expensive than most people will think. -- Andy http://www.westol.com/~ridger Kali/Nascar/Win95
