This is what it says when I try to goto The Pits. Not Found The requested object does not exist on this server. The link you followed is either outdated, inaccurate, or the server has been instructed not to let you have it. Some one sent me the url togo there but the url they sent me isn't the one for The right Pit. It has no images or names like the US site or the UK site. Plus you had to rember which place was where to goto. Luckly I know where the Workshop was. Does anybody know if the US site is still up?
Disregard that. The Pits is really screwed up now. -- Kenneth http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/1517/ On Wednesday, June 12, 1996, Kenneth Drupiewski wrote... > On Wednesday, June 12, 1996, Gordon Camp wrote... > > This is what it says when I try to goto The Pits. > > Not Found > > The requested object does not exist on this server. >Disregard that. The Pits is really screwed up now. I had an e-mail from Jan today saying that the pages were being updated a little. Unlike the UK site, Jan is unable to Telnet and FTP to the site directory directly and as a consequence, we have to send the files to the Sys Admin to get them updated. Unfortunatley we always seem to have problem with updates at the US site. Maybe if we start making some money we can get space on a bigger, faster server and have a decent URL like WWW.THEPITS.COM (the above was not an invite for some idiot to register it before us and charge us for using it ;-) Stick with us and if things are really bad, try the UK site. Bandwith has increased a little and will do so during the summer.so its shouldn't be too slow. And yes, I am working on the June/July update at the moment.
