Rick,
Can we expect better framerates with Windows95 supported
Soundcards, Video, ect... as compared to Dos? I currently have no
knowledge as to what Direct.....(ect...) support actually means.
Thanks,
Ron

If I have DirectX compliant drivers (Diamond 3240) and plenty of
memory will the new Win95 version run faster than the current DOS
version.

The video and sound companies are all working on the DirectX >support, so keep up with their latest driver releases. >Rick Genter >Technical Lead, IndyCar Racing II >Sierra On-Line, Inc.If I have DirectX compliant drivers (Diamond 3240) and plenty of

Is that a Diamond Stealth 64 Video VRAM? If it is, and the new Win95
version is even as FAST as the DOS version, LET ME KNOW! My experience
with 3 sets of drivers and 2 versions of DirectX were not encouraging.
Frame rates were 1-5 fps slower in Win95.
