TNFS Prob.

After installing Windows95, I now have no sound in DOS in the Need for Speed. Under DOS6.2 the sound worked fine.If I run the install program it does not detect my soundcard. Anyone else have this problem and a possible solution? I contacted EA and they gave me a stupid answer! (Maybe the game does not support your soundcard!) Worked before. Bill
A solution that I found was to use your soundcard's 16 bit drivers. In other words reboot your PC into Dos mode, and run NFS from there. --------- Glenn Beaumaris "I believe in God-after all Helen Hunt exists" HELEN HUNT: COOL "The day I got to hand over my tank top to the stunt woman on Twister." What sound card do you use? If you're using a GUS you should use the new win95 drivers. (But I would play under plain DOS if I were you...) Greetz, Frits.

Bill, Make sure that Win95's idea of what interrupt and DMA addresses are the same as you had previously set up in DOS. I had a problem with this same thing when I first got Win95 and this game. Colin
