GP2-My 2cents on performance

1 post by 1 person · 27 Jul 1996 - 27 Jul 1996

I dont think the key to running gp2 successfully is totally in the processor speed, but in RAM. I run the game on a p133 with 32 megs of ram and a diamond stealth 64 vram card and have no problems what so ever. Sure, I had to set the trackside objects to low, but this allowed me to turn on the rest of the options, including the sky, and still achieve a 19.6fps. Seems to run Ok. Besides, at 190mph, who looks into the grandstand anyway! :-) David Goudzwaard
