Don't split newsgroup

2 posts by 2 people · 25 Nov 1996 - 25 Nov 1996

I read here that some of you want a Nascar only newsgroup. I think it is sad that you wish to split the computer racing fraternity as a whole We are all racing simulator fans whether we race a Nascar, Indycar, Formula 1 or a sports car on the open road. I personally don't have trouble sorting out what I do and don't want to read. I am a Nascar man through and through but that dosn't mean I think GP2 is ***(as someone put it.) At the end of the day if you don't like it, don't race it and don't read about it. Leave the group as it is. Nigel of Lakewood Racing Hamilton New Zealand

Hi Nigel, hi all, I agree completely with the opinion expressed above. Although I, personally, like F1 racing better than Nascar or Indycar, I admire the Papyrus sims too. I like taking an occasional drive in a stock car or Indycar. Furthermore, I'm always interested in reading informative postings on those subjects. Some topics pertain to all sims (hardware questions etc.), and, since almost everybody indicates the particular sim they're talking about in the header, it's easy to filter out those that are not of interest at a given moment. Take this as another vote to leave the group as it is. ...Coming to think of it: If we could have a seperate group for ymenard and the like, I would be all for it. ;) >Nigel of Lakewood Racing >Hamilton >New Zealand -- Wolfgang Preiss \ E-mail copies of replies to this posting are welcome. \ (Not necessary if you're posting from Europe.) Junk \ do you care, spammer? If you find opinions express- Uni des Saarlands \ ed in the above posting, they're probably mine.
