Nascar2 Rainchecks at Best Buy

Even though the Best Buy ad says NASCAR 2 is out, it's not. But they are giving rainchecks for the $29.99 price. Might as well get a rain check. I doubt you'll find it cheaper elsewhere.

CompUSA has a similar ad. $39.99 with a $10 instant rebate. They refused to give me a raincheck. Apparently they don't care if they use false advertising. Don't ya just love the computer biz? Bill

Hello All, Quick question, why is that when I preordered my copy of NASCAR 2 from Sierra. The total price including shipping was $69.95, but I'm seeing it here for $29.99> Do I need to canceal my order and wait for the stores? Bob

I believe ya. I basicly HATE CompUSA. I only go there as a last resort. They gave me a bad time when Novalogic's F22 came out. It was bundled with a TM FCS Mk II for $47.99. When I told the manager about the sale price, he told me he knew nothing about it. I mentioned that I got the price from the internet. He then gave it to me for $50. Then he comes back and tells me the game was $47.99 list and I was basicly stealing the store blind. The very next day there was a CompUSA add in the paper. "F22 & TM-FCS Mk II for $47.99". I immediately took the game back for a refund.***them... Plus I thought the game was horrible. I felt the box had false advertising on it :-) Oh ya... *NEVER* buy equipment from CompUSA. I have gotten alot that was obviously re-shrinkwrapped. Those were all returned.

What kind of coupon did you get? The one I received has N2 listed as a special price of $49.95 (which seems to be regular price!)

The coupon I got was a upgrade " when you upgrade to nascar racing 2 Only $29.95 " "Exclusive upgrade offer" I got it in the mail over the weekend. Also just go in the mail today Interaction Mag from Sierra Nascar 2 is in the mag for $49.95 & $ 54.95 All these prices!!! Also 1 says dos cd other says windows 95 and coupon says for both. E.R.
