I have never had sound with Nascar 1. I can play the music and Ned J's
intro, but no sound when playing game. I have Opti Mad 16 Pro sound card.
Any suggestions?

Maybe this will help--
I had a problem last night after loading nascar2 and this fixed sound.
I had to run the "autodetect sound card" button in the window created by
nascar2 in windows 95. (Not in the game yet) Note the IRQ number and DMA
number after the test runs and you heat sound. I'm having to run the sim
in DOS mode so I had to ensure (that means change) the soundcard settings
for my soundcard in the autoexec.bat After that the sound worked fine.
