Has anyone tried GP2 and OS/2?

I run GP2 unders MDOS (OS/2 DOS emulator) without any problems ... I initially migrated the original game .EXE, requiring occupancy of the CD-ROM by the CD for it to run. I now use the widely available "tweaked" .EXE which enables one to run GP2 without having the CD in the drive. Interestingly, the game runs much faster at any graphical setting under a plain DOS boot ... but falls flat on its face sooner or later (usually sooner) locking the machine up solid. However, though requiring a lower graphics setting under OS/2 to get a decent playing speed, it is stable and robust on that platform. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Tony Sanders Wellington New Zealand ... absolutely, positively nuclear-free, and absolutely OS/2 Warped. ---------------------------------------------------------------
