there won`t be ANY update soon!

That sux because this sim isn't finish yet...I miss drving in the
rain....and I would
actually welcome some car shake in the speed ...if you watch F-1 you see
how the
whole car...shakes..would like to see that implemted...and also 1995,
1996,1997 seasons
cars...but real one..not the shit it's there now...Ferrari should have
ferrari design...Benetton
should have more Benneton design....

Actually there are rumours allegedly from Microprose UK about a patch
for GP2 next January. Check http://www.sax.de/~sts/gp2/_gp21.html.
Sounds like there will be stuff I won't need like 4-8 players over IPX
and imporved modem play, but not what I really crave for like weather
and 3-D support.

Latest news (more or less reliable rumours) is that there WILL be an update, but
NO changing weather. Instead I believe some other things were mentioned:
- 4 player network play
- car-textures can be turned off
- improved linked play

Forget about the patch, unless MPS can charge for it, it's not
coming.....too bad... hopefully when MPS goes broke, Goeff will join
Papyrus and make another F1 Sim.

Well... let's not forget that 5 free patches -- or "fixes", if you
like -- were released for F1GP ("GP1"), thru v1.05.
However, the least of GP2's problems is variable weather... methinks
Microprose is not Crammond's greatest 'problem'.
