Can someone help me?!?!? I recently bought the game Network Q Rally Championship but i can't get my steeringwheel to work. Not with Win'95 or with Dos. I do use the adaptor. Please help me, becuase they do not know the answer at Thrustmaster and Europress. Thanks in advance for the one who will send me an answer. Ronald Akkermans
I also have this same problem. I would be interested to here from anyone with a solution also.
The problem is that the calibration in the game goes around and around it just won't stop. The first time the calibration went well but after i reinstalled the game i cannot calibrate. The support at Europress doesnot know it either but they are trying to find out what goes wrong. Derek, can you help me? Derek, the Rally.cfg is the configuration file but i do not think that is the answer because Europres sended me theirs already and it did not work but thanks anyway!!!!. I am beginning to think that my gameport from my AWE 32 PnP is broken. I have an ACM Gamecard but it coflicts with my AWE gameport wich i can't disable. I mailed Creative but they do not answer. Maybe you know something Ronald Akkermans > >The problem is that the calibration in the game goes around and around it > >just won't stop. : The problem is that the calibration in the game goes around and around it : just won't stop. The first time the calibration went well but after i : reinstalled the game i cannot calibrate. The support at Europress doesnot : know it either but they are trying to find out what goes wrong. : Derek, can you help me? Just a thought.... I've built my own wheel and pedals, as far as I know they are correct. They work in GP2 and function as a standard joystick in games like doom. A test program shows that the values joystick from joystick port change as they should, and the resistance of the pots change as they should as well. But I couldn't get them to calibrate in RAC Rally, it just looped and looped...... Until I pressed the brake pedal when it asked for the accelerator and vice versa, BINGO the calibration completed! I just wonder if Europress***ed up? (again!) Please let me know if this helps and I add it to the RAC RAlly FAQ (see my web page for details) Neil ******************************************************************* * Neil Jowsey Computing Services (Brownlow Hill) * * http://www.liv.ac.uk././~neilj/home.html PO Box 147, Liverpool * * Voice +44 151-794-4582 L69 3BX * * Fax +44 151-794-4442 UK * ******************************************************************* USES Disclaimer; { The views expressed here are not necessarily those of the } { University or me come to that. I have my T2 working fine with : Rally Championship, all I had to do was use the adapter, calibrate and away : I went. Some people are finding that the calibtartion just loops round and never finishes. I'm not sure if this is due to lack of adapter or not. The solution is to press the brake when it asks for the accelerator and vice versa. This allows the calibration to complete but the pedals are the wrong way aroound! I would be VERY grateful if you could try the calibration for me without the adapter. If it does just loop and can be completed if you press the brake when asked for the accererator and vice versa please let me know and I'll add it to the FAQ on my web page. Many thanks Neil ******************************************************************* * Neil Jowsey Computing Services (Brownlow Hill) * * http://www.liv.ac.uk./~neilj/home.html PO Box 147, Liverpool * * Voice +44 151-794-4582 L69 3BX * * Fax +44 151-794-4442 UK * ******************************************************************* USES Disclaimer; { The views expressed here are not necessarily those of the } { University or me come to that.
