I can't recall who, but someone posted something about a newer version
of the Talladega AI, and I would like to try it, but I don't know where
to get it.

I believe the program you are referring to was written by Tom Hansen and
is called "AI update at Taladega". You can get it from www.theuspits.com
in the Nascar2 section. (I hope my memory serves me correctly).

It was Michael Carver and, although I can't remember the web site address,
I'm sure if you mailed him he will point you in the right direction.
As a matter of interest, I applied this new AI to my Talladega track the
other night and can say that it has totally transformed (for the better)
the racing experience at that track. It's now necessary to concentrate the
whole time on what you and the other cars are doing.
They have done an excellent job.
