I just upgraded my video card from the Graphics Blaster 3D to the Sierra
Screaming 3D and GP2 is FAST! I can run with all the details (including sky)
turned on at TI-circuit. I'm not sure if it's the K6-200 or the video card,
but with my old Cyrix 6x86-PR166+ and a Tseng ET-6000, I didn't get great
frame rates. Then I changed my machine to the K6 and Graphics Blaster 3D and
the processor occupancies didn't decrease too much. Now with the Screaming
3D, it absolutely flies!
Is it because of the processor or is it that the Rendition does a good job in
2D?

Well, GP2 estimates the framerate (with everything turned on) as 12.4. But I
set the rate to 21.3 and it seems ok... the processor occupancies never broke
100% at Aida. So I take it that means that I'm getting the full 21.3.
From what someone told me, GP2 uses the estimate as kind of a maximum frame
rate and the manual setting as the minimum (like N2 or ICR2). I don't know if
this is true or not...
