I stopped by my local EB to check on the Grand National Pack. As i was
listening to a conversation up front a heard the words CART and Nascar
mentioned so i had to ***in. He said he was the local Sierra rep, so i asked
him about the Expansion pack. He said expect it anytime. The EB had just got
S.O.D.A. in and he said he was surprised the pack wasn`t shipped with it. SODA
looks decent but had no mention of it being Rendition Ready even though the
demo was. They had it priced at $49.99 so i passed. Went to CompUSA and they
hadn`t received it yet. As far as the CART he showed me a flyer and it will be
Rendition Ready, basically a change of name from ICR2 with a few upgrades and
a new manual. I saw the flyer for the BGN pack and told him there are plenty
of rumors flying around and we are all chomping at the bit to get it. He said
its funny but sometimes we know more than he does, apparently the reps arent
to well informed. I also asked about Beta testing but he didn`t know alot
about that either.
Hope this helps with a little updated info.
Harry
