Regarding Indy Racing: The Road to Indy..... I can't complain about the frame
rate issue, on my 200 with 3dfx and ALL options on and a FULL race track my
frate rate is GREAT......HOWEVER they'd better address the other problems
tho...This IS NOT A SIM, Arcade game at best, even in so called SIM mode,
Damage model is non existant, I hit the wall and so many other cars trying to
get a feel for this thing (which I finally did develop) that my car should
have been TOTALED MANY TIMES, but, never a scratch, not even a flat tire,
heard the crew cheif warn me not to blow the engine, so NATURALLY, I tried to
blow it up, couldn't do it. (and Yes I had crash damage on, and diff set to
expert).
I'm gonna keep it tho just for ability to drive the Silver Crown, Midgets and
Sprint Cars. I've been wanting that since the OLD Mario Andretti's Racing
Challenge (now that was a TURD, but I love sprint cars). I think they got the
driving physics pretty close for those cars....but the IRL Cars SUCK IMHO. So
I hope they support this game and patch the problems, but even if they don't
I'm gonna have fun with it........OH YEA don't forget the thing CAME with 2
count em 2 COMPLETE CD's with a msg on the sleeve of the second copy saying
"Give this FREE COPY to your buddy............" So 2 copy's for the price of
one and a fairly fun game too.
