nfsse problem

I am having a problem getting the sound to work for this game. I am trying to install it in the dos mode but it thinks I don't have a sound card at all!

Try setting the "blaster" envioronment variable. Works for me......

Where exactly do I do that...what do I do basically to do this? thanx

At the DOS prompt, type in 'set blaster=a220 i5 d1 t4' What kind of sound card is it?
