I wonder if anyone has had this;
saved the beginning of the last lap of the first season's race at Melborne.
When I finished the race (I won by 9 secs over JV), the car went to autopilot
for a bit I got to watch the top 10 cross the finish line. I then got a tour
of the track from a higher view than the***pit, but at about racing speed.
Hit the ESC key to stop than and went to the "hold the trophy high" firl
screen, heard applause, then a boom like a firecraker and the screen goes
blank, like its looking for a film clip and I'm tossed back to W95 with an
application termination box. No updates from the end of the race.
I can reload from the beginning of the last lap, but the game always crashes.
Large 3dfx install, patch 1.5 installed, name patch for Jaque, 98 cars loaded,
and the patch to minimize the film clip file sizes at the start of the game.
Dell P2 300, AWE, T2 64Meg lots of disk space.
Anyone experienced this? Any ideas on what I should try?

I have the same Dell system model as yours with the same patches except the film
patch. I've never had that problem so maybe it is the film patch causing it.
