F1RS Demo Problem

I am having problems with the F1RS 3dfx demo on the March Boot magazine cd. p200mmx,64meg,Diamond Monster 3d. It shows 3dfx logo, Ubisoft logo, Formula1 screen then dies with the following: F1VOO caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 022f:bff9a5d0. Registers: EAX=c0017314 CS=022f EIP=bff9a5d0 EFLGS=00010212 EBX=0160ffb8 SS=0237 ESP=0158ff1c EBP=015901b8 ECX=00000000 DS=0237 ESI=00000000 FS=16d7 EDX=bff7678c ES=0237 EDI=bffb8e70 GS=0000 Bytes at CS:EIP: 53 8b 15 7c c2 fb bf 56 89 4d e4 57 89 4d dc 89 Stack dump: E-mailed UbiSoft with this hoping for a reply, but it's only a demo, don't know if they will respond. I've got a slight bad attitude about software companies support after the total lack of support I got from Bethesda on Xcar. I've been reading all about F1RS here and am dyin' to try it. Hi Joe Had the same problem myself. A poster here said it works as long as you have your joystick, wheel,etc. unplugged. Keyboard control being unacceptable to me, I instead chose to download the French version & it works great!!
