F1RS - hate it

I have now spent over 2 weeks trying to play this game and can honestly say I cannot stand it. I have tried several patches in the hope it would grow on me but it has not. The menu system is slow and very laborious. Fed up having to reconfigue everything each time I change between GP2 and F1RS. I have a P166 with 84MB ram, 4MB 3dfx card and it still runs like shit. The car seems almost undriveable even in the easy mode. Sometimes I can never get the car out of 1st gear, even with Auto gearbox configured. The manual is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard and that's being kind. Yes, the graphics are good. But surely a driving game should be ***y driveable even in easy mode??? Sorry to all you guys that seem to love this game, but I think it is utter pants and am taking mine back to the store I purchased it from to exchange for something else. Having had a spin or 2 in a formula ford at Brands in the past, I can honestly say that was far more fun than this sim. Gary Young Still a lover of GP2
