Some of you try to beat the ghostlap time on this site( www.f1racingsim.com ) and they can't. One of a major reason it's because those of you don't have the right DINPUT.DLL in their windows\system directory. Found on my own experience, 5 months ago i use the original DINPUT.DLL that i had in my windows\system directory and i found that it was tough to play F1RS without touching the grass. 1month later ,i read about the deadzone and i try for myself a newest DINPUT.DLL setted to 3 % instead of the original 5 %, and this improve my driving. Even more recently, i decided to try DINPUT.DLL setted to deadzone at 1 % and again my game was improved. BUT tonight, i did the BIG move, the kind of move i should do since 5 months, try DINPUT.DLL setted to 0 % deadzone. It's TOTALLY AMAZING !!!! I could be now very close the white line near the grass without touching it. But take care because to use correctly this DINPUT.DLL at 0 %, you have to configurate your % sensibility under 100 % for brake and acceleration.if you use 100 % for braking, your wheel will be blocked too rapidly. Try differents possibilities as you will be comfortable. For steering wheel, sensibility could be at 100 %. If you want my personnal DINPUT.DLL setted at 0 % deadzone, just send me an e-mail and i will send it to you shortly. So just remember that with your original DINPUT.DLL you could'nt beat the ghostlap on this site without help and you can't use the help options because there the rules. So don't hesitate to change your DINPUT.DLL in your windows\system directory and you'll be faster and better appreciate this great racing game. Now for me, F1 Racing has a GREAT 3D modeling with this new DINPUT.DLL setted at 0 %. It will even improve your race against 21 others AI cars at the first corner.
