I am assuming you are looking for local people so that you can make a
modem connection. Another alternative is to try out a program named kali
that allows you to play N2 and many other games you may have over the
internet. Of course this is only an option if you already have an internet
connection. With kali you connect to the internet through your local ISP so
there are no long distance bills. You can race upto 3 other racers at the
same time. You need to have at least a 28.8 modem but preferrably a 33k or
56k. There are many N2 racers on kali any day of the week. Most action is in
the evening. You can download a free version of kali over the internet at
http://www.kali.net This will enable you to use the program for 15 minute
intervals. This gives you enough time to see what racing N2 is like over the
internet. This free version has all the features of the registered version
the only difference is the 15 minute time limit. If you then decide you like
racing N2 using kali on the internet the registered version will only cost
you $20.00 This is a one time cost and entitles you to free upgrades as they
become available. It is a tremendous bargain.
