Just changed myself. Try Free Agent. Go to www.tucows.com and search for it there. Also, if you want a better browser (well IMHO anyway), try Opera. It's only shareware though, but I'm paying after the trial's up anyway.

Actually the newest version of Anawave Gravity is Microplanet Gravity, and yes, It is one of the best newsreaders. -- Remove haha to reply.
I use "Free Agent" and it works great, and it's free!! Available at most download sites Edward On Tue, 19 May 1998 16:22:13 -0400, Dave Roland >Can someone tell me a good "news-reader and poster" program that is >seperate from Netscape or IE, Thanks so much >Dave Roland

Can you explain what makes this better than using outlook express? I just downloaded Gravity and I agree it is a good newsreader, but don't quite understand why it would be any better than what i am using. Maybe you just avoid Micro-***as much as possible.. which is perfectly understandable. I try to as well, but i actually like outlook and IE 4.0. I'm not trying to start a fight, and I have only tried Gravity for an hour or so, I am probably just missing something. Thanks
